I am a Southern California native, Registered Nurse, and mama of two wild and (mostly) wonderful boys. When our family relocated to San Francisco in the fall of 2017, I had a chance to figure out my next step, professionally, and decided to pursue a long-time passion for birth work.
I completed my DONA Birth Doula training in 2018 and was fortunate to apprentice with two amazing Bay Area Birth Doulas, Heather Charmatz and Meleah Ekstrand. Each step in the process has confirmed loving being in this role, supporting incredible families through this life-changing experience.
I have supported clients in the area at Kaiser- San Francisco and Santa Rosa, CPMC- Mission Bernal, UCSF, and Marin General. I hope to continue supporting mamas in this role and learning all I can from each unique birth, as I navigate steps toward becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.
When I am not assisting at a birth, I love being outdoors, exploring the world, playing with my kids, being AWAY from my kids, and creating/re-purposing things (I consider myself a Martha Stewart meets MacGyver).
